Happy Friday everyone! What better way to start the weekend than with a great new recipe . One of my favorite ways to start the day is with a healthy, protein-packed breakfast. This recipe only takes about 12 minutes to make, and is packed with enough fiber to keep you full and fueled for hours. Best part of all they taste just as good as the traditional fluffy white pancakes. What more could you ask for in a breakfast?!

Hello Beauties! Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. My hair goes through some pretty intense transformations on a daily basis. Whether I’m headed to work or out for a romantic dinner date, my hair sees its fair share of heated styling tools – complete with tugging, curling, straightening and dont forget the hairspray. While I do take precaution to use gentle products, the truth is there’s only so much you can do to save your strands while styling like this, really.
I think we all desire that gorgeous glossy hair, so I have decided to share everything from my own personal care hair routine, to tips on how to make it grow faster, break less and have more volume. …
Hi everyone! Hope you’re all having a great end to the week. I wanted to share a little bit of insight on a topic that I think many of us have struggled with before – late-night snacking. We’ve all been there at some point or another. Or if you are anything like me, it’s an everyday occurrence. Somewhere just an hour or so before bedtime, a little voice says, “I’m hungry”.
I know we really shouldn’t snack at night, but how bad is it really? Are all night-time snacks created equally? The rules of late-night eating are not black and white, it all depends more on when your eating, what your eating and what you will be doing after you eat. …

Good nutrition has a very important role in your life when leading a healthy lifestyle. When combined with exercise, good nutrition can help you reach and maintain a healthy weight. It also helps reduce risk of disease, boosts energy, improves mood, and promotes great overall health.
Here are the three main reasons that I eat healthy:
1. Health – This is the most important reason to eat healthy, it helps you to stay in peak condition. What you put in your mouth everyday has an enormous impact on your overall health. Eating fiber will lower cholesterol and blood pressure and can prevent certain types of cancers. Fresh fruits and vegetables are very high in antioxidants which protect against a variety of diseases. …
As I strive to live an active and healthy lifestyle, making each and everyday count, exercise has become a core part of who I am. Living a fit and healthy lifestyle not only will change your body, but it changes your mind, your attitude and your mood. I like to start off each and every morning with a hot cup of java, then I slip into a pair of my favorite Critical Pump leggings, before I find a bright open space where I can engage in a good 30-45 minutes of physical activity. Exercising each and everyday, helps me to get fit, stay healthy and feel beautiful.
One of my favorite parts of exercising is stretching. What is stretching, you ask? …
What is Maca?
Maca is a root vegetable native to the Andes Mountains in South America. Maca root (lepidium meyenii) is a relative of cruciferous vegetables, like broccoli and cabbage, but due to its unique properties it considered to be a “superfood.” It has traditionally been used to enhance both the female and male libido, and help treat a variety of illnesses. But today this superfood is readily available as a dietary supplement in the form of powder, liquid and a pill. Maca is being used regularly by athletes to increase stamina and enhance their athletic performance, as well as help speed up post-workout muscle recovery.
Maca provides a powerful source of nutrition, including:
- Over 20 amino acids, including 8 essential amino acids.
To maintain good health, it is important to keep moving and stay active throughout the day. But, for those of us who have jobs keeping us at our desks all day, this can sometimes seem like a daunting task.
It has been proven that sitting for long periods of time has become one of the major risk factors for poor health. Overtime this inactivity is leading to an increased risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity.
So I think it’s in everyone’s best interest to get up and get moving – even while we’re at work. There are plenty of ways to become more active in the workplace. Here are just a few of my ideas to get you started.…
Who is Wonder Woman you might ask? Wonder Woman is an Amazon and was granted her powers by the Greek gods, in particular by Aphrodite who created the Amazons. It is said that much of her strength came from her training and channeling of her mental powers into physical abilities.
The truth is, we all secretly have super powers within. Sometimes we just can’t figure out how to use them properly. In honour of all the True Wonder Women of the world, I created a smoothie that combines the antioxidant and cancer preventative powers of cherries with the hormone balancing and mood enhancing powers of the maca root . This smoothie is sure to stimulate your body, boost your energy and enhance your performance. …
