False lashes are the perfect indulgence for those special occasions and nights out like Valentine’s Day, when you want to add a little more glam to your look. But, to be perfectly honest I was never really a big fan of them. I found them to be very uncomfortable to wear and honestly a complete waste of money – until now!!! Day after day we are following countless beauty trends to achieve the look we desire, but by far the most prominent trend in 2017 was eyelash extensions. We’re all a little guilty of wanting those sky-high lashes and this semi-permanent option allows you to roll out of bed looking like you just applied 3 coats of mascara without all the fuss. Let me set the record straight: I pretty much eat the same thing for breakfast 365 days of the year. That being said, I do think it’s good to switch things up every once in a while. Winter time is my favorite time of year to experiment in the kitchen. Snowy days call for more time indoors and more time for baking, recipe testing and DIY projects. Eating the same bowl of oats each and every day is always nutritious , but this holiday season I want to tantalize my taste buds.

PARSNIP & GRAPES PORRIDGE BREAKFAST
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup semolina
- 2 cups of soy milk or other non dairy beverage
- 1 vanilla pod
- 1 parsnip grated (medium size)
- pinch of salt
- 6 large raisins sliced
- almond flakes
- 1 bunch of red grapes
- Firstly wash and separate grapes, spread evenly on a baking sheet and roast in the oven at 350 F for approximately 35 minutes.
It’s so great that people are investing in their health more and taking ownership of it. It can be so empowering knowing that you are in charge of YOU. Although it sounds so simple, and perhaps obvious, your health is something that can be easily overlooked. What we put in our bodies each day has such a huge effect on us internally and externally. STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE
Prep Time: 5 minutes
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen organic strawberries
- 1/ cup chopped cucumber
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt
- 1 scoop vanilla Vega sport protein
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
