We all want to look good, right? Don’t we all want great skin, great hair, great nails and great teeth! But do we ever think about where our beauty products have come from? Too many of us don’t really think about how the products came about, how they were made, how they were tested and what cruelty-free really stands for.
Cosmetics and Skin Care companies unfortunately have a long history of cruel testing practices on animals. Animal cruelty is one of the most unfortunate and barbaric actions made by humans towards other living species.
Now, you might be wondering what you can do to help. Be a conscientious shopper and know what you are buying. Take the time to look at labels before making a purchase. If you want to check on a company’s cruelty-free status, check animal rights websites for a list of approved companies. I have put together a list of some of my favourite cruelty-free products below, try them out and maybe you too will realize beauty doesn’t have to be so cruel!
