Who doesn’t love chocolate?? I do! This recipe is the perfect substitute for for all those miniature candy bars this Halloween. The spooky part — something sooo good can actually be good for you. If you’re anything like me, you’re very intrigued by anything that combines both chocolate and peanut butter in the same sentence!
Skip all the calories and sugar this Halloween, and indulge in some rich, decadent chocolate-y goodness without sacrificing your goals! This recipe has only three simple ingredients and totally lives up to it’s reputation of delivering big taste without all the added sugar. Hope you enjoy!
VEGAN CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE BITES
Prep Time: 2 minutes
- 1 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup all natural peanut butter
- 2-3 tbsp. pure maple syrup or agave ( optional )
Melt coconut oil in a medium saucer over low heat, then whisk in cocoa powder and peanut butter until smooth, be sure not to burn. When mixture has no lumps remaining, spoon evenly into your choice of silicone molds. Refrigerate or freeze until hard. Remove your Halloween treats from mold and place in ziplock bag in the freezer to store.
Coconut Oil – provides increased energy, boosts your metabolism and provides great immune support.
Cocoa Powder – improves mood, it provides natural “happy, feel good chemicals”, and contains health boosting antioxidants.
Peanut Butter – high in protein and potassium, this favorite of mine helps lower the risk of high blood pressure, stroke and heart disease. It also contains healthy fats and magnesium to fortify your bones and muscles.
