QUICK AND HEALTHY SNACKS ON-THE-GO/FIT.FABULOUS.BEAUTIFUL

Hi beautiful!  Hope you are having a great week so far!  I hear a lot of people talking about what they should have for snacks throughout the day.  Some people are looking for convenience, others desire pure nutritional satisfaction.  I really enjoy eating healthy and balanced meals throughout the day, but of course, my diet isn’t 100% perfect all the time.  There are definitely days, especially if I’m working or out on the go where I maybe don’t have the time or resources to access the healthiest food choices. This is when I might make an exception and try not to stress over it, trying to make sure I plan ahead next time so I am prepared with healthy snack options.

I have put together a list of super easy healthy snacks below.  These snacks are easy to grab and go or throw in your purse and lunch bag.  I hope you find some healthy food inspiration today and maybe discover some new healthy snack ideas to incorporate into your own everyday routine.  Feel free to share any of your current favorite snack ideas or healthy recipes in the comments below.  I always love hearing from you.

QUICK AND HEALTHY SNACKS 

  • a handful of almonds
  • 1 apple with a tbsp. of peanut butter, or other nut butter
  • 1 piece of dry toast topped with avocado and a sprinkle of everyday original spice
  • 3 large carrots with hummus
  • a handful of cashews
  • a handful of cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 a chicken breast
  • 1 banana
  • 1-2 cups of berries
  • 2 eggs scrambled
  • 1-2 cups of grapes
  • 2 cups of air popped popcorn
  • 2-3 protein energy balls
  • 1 small sweet potato
  • 1/2 cup of greek yogurt
